Without a doubt, pizza is a staple food for almost every family.  Almost everyone I know orders pizza at least once every weekend.  I see a lot of delivery drivers speeding through our neighborhood, too.

Instead of relying on delivery, toss together this easy pizza pasta instead.

If you like other toppings on your pizza, feel free to add your favorites.  I am a veggie lover myself.  City Spouse is a meat-lover.  The recipe I have is the compromise between our favorite toppings.  If I’m feeling really nice, I will leave out the mushrooms.

He refuses to eat “fungus”.  The goofball.

This is one of my favorite meals to pull out of the freezer in a rush before work.  I’m sometimes overwhelmed at night and forget to get something out.  This pasta sauce thaws during the day in my refrigerator and can be tossed into the Crockpot when I get home.  Supper is still on the table at a decent time and I don’t have to worry about it at all.

I love simplicity.
